Thought I would led you know that these two albums are up for bids. They were won in the Side One Dummy sampler download contest. Got em in the mail today and am in dire need of some cash so they are up for sale. Please feel free to ask me any questions, preferably through Ebay. Here's the links:

what would make you say that? He does have most of the other sideonedumny test pressings up as well. I ask because I'm the highest bidder ( well if it's still at 71). PM if neccessary.

there wasn't much sniping you could do. Shit wasn't cheap. The guy made like 700 bucks off the contest. Have fun with the ebay charges.

That's a lot of money for a record! Was well out of my price range!

The '59 Sound went for $305 (more than I was willing to bid)
Chuck Ragan/Brian Fallon split $71 (much less than I was going to bid)

Damn I wish a boardie would have picked one of them up. The most I'll pay for a record is 30 dollars so i had no chance at either.

Better news is I have the blue and the white versions of 59 sound headed my way.

I wonder who got them? it might have been someone from DSS.

I am bidding on the White S&TQ right now... I will be in the woods for the next 6 days, so I can't snipe this auction, I just have to hope my bid lasts.

I went up to $300 on this bid, someone must have really wanted it (whoever ended up winning it.) In all honesty, $300 is way too much for that record. I stopped at $300 because for me I would have just broke even on a sale I made of some lp's I had. I've collected Sublime stuff for nearly ten years. I'm just now selling off the last of my stuff because while i still love them they dont really come out with anything new, and I figure I'd give some other fans a chance to get some of their older stuff. The point to my story is , I've had first pressings of 40oz. to Freedom (a record that is nearly 17-18 years old) as well as all other records and I've paid nowhere near 300 for any of them. I've come close at times but like i said for a record that is 15 years old, yes, for a record that is out merely 1 year, no way in hell. Oh well.

I understand that logic... although I do believe I hold the record for most paid for a TGA record... $350 for SOS Test Pressing... was it worth it... hell yeah!
