Angry Johnny - Live in Boston - Question

I just wanted to know what song is song in the middle of Angry Johnny on the Live in Boston album. It's around the 3:15 mark. I can't tell if he's just scat singing and kind of rambling on, singing no particular song or if he was actually singing a part of someone else's song. I've tried to google some of the things he says but its not too clear. If it's a cover of a song or little pieces of songs could you let me know?

I'm pretty sure it would be a cover. <br>But it's definitely not What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted for the first part of the breakdown, (3 mins to 4:34) but from 4:34 onwards it is What Becomes of the Broken Hearted.<br>It's really hard to hear the first part. Maybe try to find a clearer bootleg of around the same time (August 08) and see what he sings there, because he changes every so often. Can any one else work it out?

At Reading , which is right around that time, there is a little bit of Tom Waits -Downtown Train.
