Yeah 4th unique single from the '59 Sound, and probably the last I would think. I was going to start a thread about whta people thought the next single be, and I would have put money on it being High Lonesome.

Backseats is cool though, and I agree Stalls, I would be very, very surprised if there wasn't a 7" release.

well, hopefully, if there is a 7", there'll be a cover or something interesting as a b-side, not just another live version of another song from 59 sound...

Maybe this single isn't one to help quell the Springsteen comparisons- idiot always say 'Backseats sounds like Backstreets'.

they just played it on xfm! turned it up much to the 'joy' of everyone at work!!

Yep ktp, you must have heard it at the same time as me! They played it again a bit later after Clint Boone's show (assume that's who you were listening too)- might have been Steve Harris or someone the second time!

The Backseat is probably my favourite TGA song! So good!
