Great band, there first record was fucking epic. Then there later records were stiil good but not great. Discuss

Destruction by Definition gets much love from me.
I dont really like their last cd. It seemed too weird for a band who to me, was synonomous with good times and upbeat songs, to get all hardcore and uber political.

I agree. I am all for expressing yourself politically in your music if that's what you wanna do, but it seems very unnatural on that record.

years ago my wife got me this as a birthday gift, it is The Suicide Machines live in Baltimore when they were on tour with No Doubt... I think this was in 2000 or 2001.

There is a very special live version of Vans with horns on it!

I am all about a band evolving and having each cd sound different from the rest; however, it just did not work with the suicide machines for me. Destruction By Def was amazing, and I really enjoyed Battle Hymns but anything after that lacked thier punch

Shame they broke up made some amazing records along the way. Only really bad album is the self titled.

The singer and maybe a guitarist had a band called Left In Ruin and now the singer has a new band called Hellmouth (pretty heavy shit).

Other than the live album, the others are all pre-Destruction, so they're pretty low quality. still cool though. The live album's from 1997 or 1998 i think.
