Anyone else see the genius in this young lad??? his debut album blew me away , the sort of album I can listen to in full over and over again gave me the same kind of buzz as listening to London Calling for the first time. His new ep came out Monday and he goes from strength to strength. I'll put some stuff on rapid share if anyone is interested.

My friend raves about him to me (in the same way I rave about TGA to him). He's got into TGA so I guess it's only fair I take a listen to this chap.


But for some reason I always associate him with Paolo Nutini so the thought of him annoys the chuck out of me.

I'll report back on what I think of his new EP.

I quite like his new song, catchy chorus, 'though I can't say I've taken much notice of his past stuff.

wasn't expecting a jamie T section but yes! tht new song of his, sticks and stones, is great and the other two of the ep are no to bad. last one's bit iffy though. early stuff was never too interested in but high hopes for Kings and Queens, his new album

Ha thought you might appreciate the Rancid thing. He gets a bad rap cos there could almost be a chav rap thing going on, but the lad loves Rancid and the Clash, if a young Joe Strummer grew up in these here modern multi-cultural times ...well you never know. He was well known for handing out his own mixtapes at gigs in the early days, mostly featuring the Clash, Rancid, Bad Brains , loads of really good reggea/ska music and some really good Soul music.
