| Thanks for giving the songs a listen, Tomaldo. I appreciate it.
I plan on starting a band once I get back to school, for the summer I was just playing around with an acoustic.
I understand that Old White Lincoln won't be as much of a hit here as for the unaffiliated. I just wanted to capture all of my favorite renditions of Brian's version into one.
Tomorrow I plan to record 2-3 more songs, Mary and the Asbury Blues, Breaking Mistakes (formerly called Ancient Newlyweds) and We Can Dance.

| Hey Vibes, nice work on the two songs up on your muxtape page. Jersey's Song's very good, and OWL is pretty good, a different way of singing it. I like the 'I was nineteen, call me'. Did you get that from the Agora bootleg? Keep up the good work, good luck for the next few recordings and any bands you're in. | |

| The "I was 19" line is from a Tegan & Sara song that Brian threw in for about a month or two. I've heard it on a bunch of different boots/youtube videos.
Thanks for the kind words

| Yeah I first heard the I was 19 line in the Live at the Agora bootleg. I love this site for those bootlegs. Keep up the good work Zach. | |

| In regards to booking, I'm brand new to it. Anyone have any tips? Right now what I've been doing is emaling places, giving them a large window of time when I'm available and then posting a link to my music. Any tips, tricks or general suggestions you may have? | |

| I'm not entirely sure yet. I figured that two seperate EPs was a little ambitious considering I'm writing, arranging and recording all of it.
So I'm just going to do 1 EP, call it East Coast, USA and throw songs on it from places all around the East Coast.

Maybe it would be an idea to keep some songs back for one EP and just concentrate soley on one of the ones you had planned originally. It seems to me the original idea is too good a one to lose (even though you're not losing it altogether if you get me). |

| True. Once I get everything recorded then I'll probably decide what to call it. I've got a bunch of solid songs. I just need to work it all out and finally record. | |

| I swear I'll have at least one new track recorded this week. I've been writing a lot good stuff recently. I'm really happy with how my songs are turning out now. | |

| Damn college keeps a kid busy. I apologize for all the promises about these EPs that I haven't been able to keep. I keep writing, just no recording just yet.
If all interest has probably been lost at this point, I understand. I feel like Streetlight Manifesto and I hate them, putting off their shit forever.
I really want to get some concrete tracks down soon though

| I like it a lot, Zack. Good to see your writer's block has passed, at least somewhat. I also like the Shawshank and Apologies, I Have None references at the end. Also, check your PMs. I have a proposal for you | |

| I enjoyed it. Make sure to post more when you have it. I love listening to other people's music...some of the most authentic music out there is recorded in a bedroom with an acoustic guitar and never heard by anyone. | |

| Musically I thought it seemed a little underdeveloped but I thought the lyrics were awesome. | |

| In other news: Recorded a new demo today. It's over on the muxtape (http://zackshapiro.muxtape.com). I'd love it if you'd listen and give me some feedback.
The story behind this song: I wrote it the night before my 17th birthday and left the song in a drawer and completely forgot about it. A year later I was going through those drawers, found it and finished it. I was going through a rough patch at the end of high school and realized I'd wrote the perfect song for myself at the time. This is the first song I'd written that I was proud of both lyrically and musically and it took so little effort I discounted it as a true song for a while. It just came out when it did.
News on the EP front: I'm going to put out an EP later this summer called Dangerous Fiction. Got a bunch of songs demo'd for it so far. Need to finish the title track and maybe one more.
