| Hi, all, I'm Mac. Been a Gaslight fan ever since I saw them on Late Night last year. I lurked here for a while before signing up. I sure am glad I found this site, though! I am horrible at these intro things, ahah. That is all. |

| haha, yeah I was surprised to see them on Letterman, had no idea that it was gonna be on, I rarely watch Letterman but that night it was on because i didn't feel like changing the channel, all of a sudden i hear Letterman introducing a band then i heard the words "The '59 Sound" i immediately stopped what I was doing (which was in a pretty important raid on WoW lol) grabbed my control and started recording it, it was so awesome xD | |

| Mac, glad you are here. There has only been one band that I ever got into because of a late night tv performance... a few years back I was watch the Late Show with Craig Feurgeson and he had Michael Franti and Spearhead come on... they put on the best tv performance I have ever seen! | |

I like 'em both, but I'm gonna have to say Sink or Swim. |

| Well, I haven't been here in a LONG time, and I'm sure there are lots of new members here, so I thought I'd introduce myself again. Here goes...
Hey, all. I'm Mac. I'm a college student in Northern California, and uh, that's about it. |

It's a small school in the East Bay. (That's all I feel comfortable with telling at the moment; I'm gonna wait until I feel fully comfortable with being back here and then I'll name it, haha.) |

| Haha, no problem! I lived in Santa Cruz for a while when I was a kid, so I was just wondering if I was familiar with it. So, I think you're the only other Dimestore Saint besides me that has Red at Night lyrics for a username. I like you already! Now watch, there is going to be someone I'm forgetting who posts all the time and I'll feel like a total idiot. | |

I know a lot of people in Santa Cruz/who go to UCSC and I visit there quite often, actually! That makes me want to see if we're the only ones with Red at Night lyrics for usernames, lol! |

| I might have to check that out, otherwise it may drive be insane. I do love Red at Night. It's such a beautiful song, very melodic and simple, but it sticks with me for a long time whenever I hear it. I identify with the lyrics a lot. Bring it On is probably my favorite Gaslight song though, for the same reasons. Is Red at Night your favorite song by TGA? | |

| Welcome?.....welcome back?....umm.... yeah... anywho hope you decide to stick around this time. I have to say though any time I hear east bay I always think of the band rancid, I have no clue if that's offensive but yep, that's what my mind immediately corrolates it to. | |

At the time I made my username, it was my favorite. Now, I'd have to say it's Diamond Church Street Choir. I just love the atmosphere the lyrics and the melody create. - Debonair wrote:

Hahah, I guess both works? lol. I probably will stick around this time! I need a place to talk TGA and music since I don't know many people at school who like talking music. Not offensive to me, at least. I've heard some pretty ridiculous things in the past, but associating East Bay with Rancid is tame, haha. |

| Diamond Church Street Choir is one of my favorites from AS. It makes me happy every time I hear it. I especially like the beginning with the cars passing by in the rain. Brian sure knows how to set a scene in his songs! | |

| I love the line about the cars passing by in the rain -- such great detail! And same here -- it's just such a happy song to listen to. |
