I read it...How impressive is Brian when he says that major labels have offered them $4 M to sign with them and he says, no thanks, I like these guys with side one dummy. Very humble and likable.

That's pretty believable. Major labels throw up figures like that and then take bands' souls away, not to mention money.

$4 million obviously breaks down to $1 mil for each of em but in exchange the company gets high percentages of everything from live shows to record sales.

i'd guess Universal. they just signed Lucero, and TGA's kinda similar, so they mighta wanted to continue signing bands in that vein

I'd guess Columbia. Isn't that was Bruce is on? With all of the media comparing the two it only makes sense for the label that supports Bruce to want Gaslight
