| Just listened to Battle Born for the first time.
It's not what I expected, but I'm loving the 80's vibe and the lyrics. Standout songs are "Runaways", "The Way It Was", "Here With Me", "Heart Of A Girl", "The Rising Tide", "From Here On Out", "Be Still" and "Battle Born".
I expected more guitars and a Sams Town sound. Instead it's drenched in synth with some nice guitar parts accompanying. But it works. And Brandon Flowers' voice has taken a step forward too, still got that unique twang but he's pushing his range a lot more comfortably these days.
I'm off to listen again!

| I love Battle Born so much. Brandon deserves more credit for transforming himself from a barely adequate singer to one of the best in the business. And the songs have always been there. I just love this band in general. Every album is different and they all have their merits. | |

| Better than Day and Age. Not as good as Sam's Town or Hot Fuss.
Also quoting Bruce and singing about the radio... has Brandon Flowers been listening to Gaslight? =P

| Only just listened to Battle Born and I think it is their best album yet. On previous albums by The Killers I have only downloaded 4 or 5 songs onto my iPod but with Battle Born I have 10. Brandon Flowers has really developed as a songwriter and there are more than a few similarities to Gaslight particularly lyrically in this album. I think Brandon Flowers will have listened to Gaslight and that shows in some of the lyrics and themes of the songs. Miss Atomic Bomb reminds me of Mae and is arguably the highlight of the album. My favourite track is probably Here With Me as it is so relatable to me it's kind of scary. I never usually had many artists apart from Gaslight who I could relate to lyrically so strongly. From Here On Out reminds me a little of Fleetwood Mac and is another great song. There are some really good slower songs as well including Be Still and Heart Of A Girl. The track Battle Born is pretty amazing too. The fact that Brendan O'Brien produced this album must have impacted the Gaslight-esque sound at times too I guess. All in all I think Battle Born is a very impressive album and the standout songs are some of the best of the year for me. | |

| Finally saw them live for the first time last night. Unbelievable experience, probably the best concert I've ever seen. I was in the pit and so close to the stage so it was like a club gig that happened to be one of the biggest bands in the world. Brandon's voice was out of this world and the entire band was outstanding. Mind-blowing night. And I was about two inches from high-fiving Brandon at the end haha. | |

| I was at the show the 6th of June and I love it. The Killers is one of my favorite bands and their show was amazing, it was my first The Killers gig. Unfortunately it was in the middle of my exams, so I wasn't able to get some autographs, but I stood in the first row and Brandon came down, so I was able to hug him My god I waited so long like I never did before, I think it was around 10 hours :O | |

| Am stoked to see the killers for the first time tonite. The opener, not sure who they were cause they never introduced themselves, seemed groggy, like they'd either just gotten up from a nap or were on some recreational stimulants. | |

| Unfortunately I missed the band a few months ago when they came through here but I think they're fantastic and one of the best modern bands right now. If they and TGA ever toured together it would be a show of epic proportions. I'm also digging "Shot at the Night". At first I wasn't too keen on it but repeated listens have improved it greatly. | |

Luckily I got to see them this year (one of the best shows I've ever been to easily, if not THE best), but I"m not ready for them to go away. At least we know Brandon will definitely continue as a solo artist if the worst happens. Probably with Ronnie as well.

| Dave Keuning's always moody, but yeah it doesn't look too good. At the very least, we probably won't see a new Killers album until 2016. | |

| They're going on another extended hiatus, and the most recent article in NME makes it seem like Dave Keuning and Mark Stoermer don't have much fire in them anymore. However, Brandon Flowers assures everything will be alright when the time comes to record the next album. | |

| Brandon Flowers will release a new solo album in 2015 -.- and I think an other hiatus is a little bit too early... because they had one before the Battle Born era :/ Sure I really appreciate a new album of Bandon Flowers, because Flamingo is one of my favorite | |
