My dad is an enormous fan. I listen to them fairly often too...very good band musically and lyrically. I also play "There Is a Light" on my acoustic.

of course! morrissey has a gorgeous, gorgeous voice, so many good songs. the smiths are on the top of my lists of bands i sadly never got to see. its also on the top of my to do list to see morrissey at least once! thinking about sad songs (vibes' post earlier) some of the first ones that come to mind are smiths songs...i could listen to "there is a light that never goes out" on repeat for hours.

yeah the smiths are pretty good.

they've just re-released their albums on 180 gram vinyl. they're on interpunk so i might pick a couple up
