If you didn't know, Sleepercar is a solo 'esque' project by Jim Ward (Sparta & At The Drive-In) I loved Sparta and he laid out some sick guitar and backing vocals for At the Drive-In way back when.
Its definitely a lot more mellow than the work he's done in the past and has some country influence throughout. Some steel guitar and what not. The album is called West Texas.
Thoughts?

i like it a lot, not real familiar with his past work. makes me want to smoke a joint, lay in a hammock, and chill out.
why does the video go for twice as long as the song?

Not my vid so im not to sure. I think you'd like Sparta more too. I little rougher but they definitely have their chill moments. The song Tensioning is perfect for that

jim also has some solo stuff going on but sleepercar is his "new" band (they've been together for a while now). pretty sure sparta is on hiatus without a label, so this is his next step.
anyways, dig the sleepercar stuff, dig sparta. jim rules.

I love everything done by Jim Ward. He is best when he is left alone. I had a chance to see him play in the revival tour. I think Sleepercar would be a perfect band to open up for TGA

I am always shocked with just how much stuff gets stolen from bands! It is just not right. I always wonder if it is someone else in the music industry that is doing the stealing or just random thieves.
That being said, it is shocking just how often bands leave their stuff unsecured, a quality hasp and lock would prevent so much from being stolen.

I agree, but from understanding the entire trailer itself got stolen so I don't think a nice lock would have done any good in this case
