| Hello,
After lurking on this board occasionally, I found myself stopping here multiple times this week and said you know I really should just make an account! So here I am. Been a fan of TGA since 2009 or so, my first show was the Radio City Show. I'm also slowly getting into vinyl a little bit, have some Gaslight albums among others and it really is a different experience to just sit there and listen to the music on a record.

| Sup Liz, welcome! I've been thinking about getting some more vinyl myself, but I think I need a different record player first. Mine is so crappy and crooked that the record doesn't stay perpendicular to the player, which means that the sound drifts and makes the tunes sound off-key. Also, I can't imagine it being too healthy for the records themselves either. But yeah, vinyl is cool | |

| Thanks and thanks!! If anyone has any info regarding record players, I would love to benefit from your advice. I have a Crosley combo one that also plays cassettes & cds and has a built in speaker that I pilfered from my parents' house, but I'd love to get something a little better. The sound is definitely not quite the "'59 Sound", more like a slightly off-key "'57 Sound" trying to sound like the original | |
