Yeah he did seem really impressed, as did Paul. I think this performance is going to end up being even bigger for them than the Conan performance.
While some are worried this means the end of basement shows, I think the home crowd will still find small shows at Asbury Lanes...they just don't seem like the band who would completely ignore the small venues just because they hit it big.

I didn't like the Les Paul JR., personally. To me, it's not "gaslight anthem." Granted, brian can play whatever he wants, as can any musician. I think I was shocked more than anything. I hope he doesn't retire the Telecaster's altogether, that would be an awful thing in my opinion.
