Re-listened to american slang today.
Man, Gaslight really got it right with that album. Brian's vocals alone are fucking remarkable. So much grit. It'd serve them well to put out another album with that much going on musically

american slang is really amazing, is one of my favorite albums <3 and Brian's voice is so fucking great

It's been too long since I've given that whole album a listen. Which is weird since it's probably my favorite album from Gaslight. Time for a vinyl party!

We apparently have some of the best music festivals in the world here in UK but seriously, from what I always see, the rest of Europe does.

in a cinema, started yesterday  

yeah about one year ago i was following kevin slack on like social media and he posted a short, eeehm, i think kinda "demo trailer" of this and i wanted to watch it ever since! haha

and well im downloading right now from filestube but this takes about 7 hours so i cant tell if this actually is the whole film ;)

anyway ya should go see it at the movies! i almoust felt like being at a live show during the "stage scenes"

ah i just found out apparently it comes out on the 20th over here in the US
It's weird when movies like this have a limited release where it's only in two theaters in LA and New York for a few weeks, tricking you into thinking that you can go out and see it immediately. Tricksters!

it looks so good! i'm excited. the other movies i'd really like to see that are coming soon are American Hustle, the Wolf of Wall Street, Her, and Nebraska.

well yeah i think brian once said something about them naming their band after this club because of the great music coming out of it - bob dylan, and some other i can't remember

Just for the one day as far as I know...it's like a one day festival with loads of acts with Neil headlining and National as main support. It's to make up for missing dates this summer or something but he could definitely play other European shows, doubt national will be there though.

haha Neil's always worth it especially considering this will most likely be, as he said last year before dates got cut, the last shows he plays with the horse. Although yes, the National in support is just incredible and adds that extra bit of greatness.  

I'm currently having difficulty writing any new material. It seems as though my mood I'd affecting my writing.
