| New band from Boston. Discovered them off the DFTH100 mix. I'm really digging them right now. The dude has a bit of old Brian's lyrical tendencies (references to Pearl Jam songs, Elvis, and the blues) but I'm just liking their sound in general. Seems like a very DSS-friendly band. I'll link the video to Now Or Never, which hooked me on the band:

| This may be reading into it too much, but given the youth of the band, their sound, and the time at which this was released, I kinda feel they bear TOO much similarity to Gaslight.
I mean I know Brian Fallon didn't exactly reinvent the wheel with his songwriting, but even the melodies are like, exactly how he would write them. About the Blues is a great song but I can't listen to it without thinking about Brian Fallon's songwriting. Same with Now or Never. Also, this may be petty but what are the odds that the Pearl Jam song this song quotes is also the only one Gaslight had been covering for years? probably a coincidence but it struck me as funny.

| Could be. I think they've been a band since at least 2009, if not before that. And not to be a dick to them, but they don't look super young to me.
But yeah, there's definitely similarities and...coincidences. But I like the way they sound and I think they write some pretty good songs, so they've won me over. | |

| I actually take it back. I don't hear the similarities the more I listen to them. Other than mentioning Elvis and the blues and quoting PJ there's really nothing there. He sounds nothing like Brian and they really don't sound like Gaslight overall. And even About The Blues melodically reminds me more of actual country songs than Brian's songwriting. | |

| I feel like they are very influenced by The Gaslight Anthem but I can't complain I bought their vinyl and I love every second of it. I hope they release a LP soon. | |
