I went skiing a few days ago and it was -24 Celsius / -11 american (w/o windchill) AND really fucking windy.

And it gets colder than that.

I was flipping out yesterday and it was 19 out. Like summer to you!

Well. Nothing bad happened today. So today was a decent day.

People who complain about cold weather just don't drink enough dark/heavy beers.


Also, I forgot how much I loved Fu Manchu, until I reunited myself with them after learning of their coming to Nashville in April. 4/27 though. One week earlier, and could've been extra crazy times.

Got revival tour tickets today for the Minneapolis show! What a great beginning to the year: walk the moon last Friday, fun. last night, Hot water music next week, two gaslight shows in march and the revival tour in April!

I feel like gaslight revived my love of music. I sang in bands for about 8 years and my last ended badly. Basically everyone walked away with one finger in the air and we haven't talked since. I used to go out and see bands all the time but being in one was more work than I bargained for and I got burned out. Discovering gaslight made me miss what I used to love about live music and the excitement and anticipation of shows and new releases. So yes, I do feel lucky to have so many great bands coming thru town right now!

Sometimes I only get 3 hours of sleep and then end up looking like a drug addict all day. KEWL.
