| Hey, thanks again, been listening to all the stuff from this post exclusively. But "The Something Special" wasn't in mp3 format. Can you help me out and tell me how to convert it? |

| this stuff is GREAT!!!! thanks for all the rips guys.. someone needs to teach me how to do that lol can anyone rip the Dino Velvet tracks and The Stand In tracks from the link.. they are good too.. even though brian wasnt in those ones.. although in the bio or The Stand In it said the lineup was Travis, Dan, David, and Brian... but i think thats (brian) referring to himself, the blogger, cuz his name is brian rothenbeck.. idk but still a pretty good band.. | |

| well, when they recorded Every Little Secret, the lineup was:
Brian Fallon (vocals/rhythm guitar) Mike Volpe (lead guitar) Rob Carducci (bass) Christian Howe (drums) Chris Shann (organ)
when they recorded the demo, the lineup was:
Brian Fallon (vocals/rhythm guitar) Mike Volpe (lead guitar) Alex Levine (bass) Benny Horowitz (drums)
so take from that what you will

| yeah, i think they just sort of evolved into TGA, so by the time Benny was in it, they basically weren't TCM anymore | |

| I talked to Benny about it late last year. He and one of the Alexs (Alex L, I think) had been in a few bands together. Right at the end of This Charming Man he met Brian, they started playing a bit, Alex R came in and then Benny made a call and Alex L joined up | |

| This is The Lawrence Arms in October 2000 - Last day of tour with Lanemeyer. It's from their Myspace. And BRIANS IN IT!!!! (middle back with the hoodie and second from the left) I don't know if they played many shows or recorded with him, but that's pretty awesome. Anyone know if he did? | |

so take from that what you will I get lost here; the demo for Every Little Secret? Did a near TGA record a demo, then other guys did the album with Brian, then TGA kind of re-formed? I can't find any info on this elsewhere and don't understand the chronology. And is there a boot of that demo? Also, does anyone know the dates (or date order) of the 3 Surrogate McKenzie recordings?

| What? That doesn't make sense. Demos come before records. Did he kick them out to record and then rejoin em up? ^ That's the picture on XOXORecords.com, who released the EP. It only makes sense that Benny and Alex recorded the EP and not the demo | |

| I'm confused my this debate on chronology and demos. Is that Mike Volpe then, second right on the above picture? Always wondered what he looked like! |
