I feel like they're wasting these years because they lack the courage of staying away from friends&family for these two years. Idk maybe tha's just me.
You're not wrong... not everyone has the opportunity they had!

You're not wrong... not everyone has the opportunity they had! they will eventually have to leave their places to find a job, keep pushing this forward is only going to make things worse I think. Hell, I am about to live in another nation but I absolutely regret nothing.

i think your feelings are completely understandable and validated...you just gotta accept that not everyone is as ready to take on the world as you...and that is a good thing, being in your footsteps. learn from their mistakes, ya know?

| So I found a boy from New Jersey hanging out in my city's seafront. I asked him if he knew The Gaslight Anthem and he didn't Hmm. And I felt so excited for 20-30 seconds. | |

| I posted a rant on my Facebook wall. Feel free to agree or disagree.
Jason Mraz represents everything I hate about mainstream popular culture. Not because he's a bad singer or a bad songwriter per se, the problem is that his music is about as stale as a dead fish. It doesn't bleed, it doesn't crumble by the threads of its soul, it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't grab you by the balls, it doesn't delve deeply into anything remotely uncomfortable and neither does it manage to encapsulate any type of euphoria. It's just there, a careful combination of chords and melodies that sound perfect in theory but to me, when I hear it, it's soulless garbage.
Whereas good music is written by people who have gone through hardships or great thrills of joy, Jason Mraz just sounds like some random idiot with a fedora sitting in a tree loft strumming chords with his hippie friends. I am so mad.

| I spent Thanksgiving with a really nice family and they were watching Farm Aid at one point and he was on. I had to watch through two of his songs and it just made me really tired of mainstream culture. | |
