thought i'd better say hello!
I can't profess to be a punk, a rocker or a music aficionado. In fact I'm an aural reprobate; I like what I like and love what I love.
I'd vaguely heard of TGA before seeing them - on television - doing the 59 Sound with Springsteen at Glastonbury and it was love at first sight.
I love stuff from TGA to Against Me! (earlier the better) to Roots Manuva and Tricky.
I hate Muse (personal preference). And music snobs.
I love boxing.
I have a terrible short/medium term memory.
My first gig was Ray Davies, with my dad, aged around 10 at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham.
I'm from Birmingham, live in South Yorkshire and spiritually belong in the independentist region of Catalonia.
I work evenings and don't get to many gigs. I like very different music to most of my friends.
I am hoping to go to the Revival Tour gig in Nottingham next week but don't fancy the idea of going on my own.
I've gone over the top here.

Welcome man! And go see the Revival Tour even if you are alone. Hell if I had the money I would fly alone to see it.

Hey, welcome to the forum! You should totally go to a revival show if you can. I'd go alone if I could afford to travel to Europe, but nannies don't get paid nearly enough here in Virginia. Go to the concert, have a blast, and report back so all of us broke/unlucky fans can live vicariously through you.

Absolute privilege to see Brian and co, all superb.
Most in Nottm to see Brian but he had to deal with 2 hecklers. Did so with aplomb.
Even with no Boxer & Goodnight Irene it was magical
