and Chuck and Dave covering one of his songs (Worry): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gm6yDfez9V8
He's got an ep called Borrowed Chords, Tired Eyes. And and album called Gather No Dust.
Just downloaded his album and ep. Hopefully it's as good as these covers.

only just discovered this man today but WHAT a talent. the cover of trusty chords blew me away but that 59 sound cover must be one of the very best ive heard.

I checked him out too. Can't say I was that impressed though...

His voice kinda bugged me for whatever reason. I'll have to listen to his original stuff sometime, though.

I found his voice strange at the start but i'm a real warmer to voices. I hated Matt Berningers from the national when i first heard them and now theyre one of my favourite bands

Yeah, I'm the same way with voices. That's why I figured I should check out more of his stuff before I completely write him off.

I think he's got a great voice but he isn't using it properly. He sounds drunk when he sings.

Wouldn't it be great if Gaslight and Northcote tour together?

Since I'm gonna binge on Dave Hause shows when he tours the US in the late winter/spring I figured I'd check this Northcote guy out (it is only one guy, right?) and he's blowing me away. My anticipation for this tour just shot through the roof!

yeah, he plays alone. before that he played in a post hardcore band. saw him with dave hause, was a great show, they played a couple of songs together.
