Any other Bon Iver fans out there? Quite honestly one of my faveourite musicians/bands of all time! For Emma . . . is a modern masterpiece imo, one of few 'perfect albums'. Bloodbank EP is top quality as well.
For those who haven't heard yet, a second album simply entitled 'Bon Iver' is being released in JUne and a song from it 'Calagary' is being offered as a free download on the offical website! Enjoy! http://www.boniver.org/

I find him pretty boring tbh. He's huge here though, his Dublin show sold out in 8 minutes yesterday morning.

You can listen to the new album in its entirety here:
Nice! I think Bon Iver is really good, their live performance is even way better than there CD/EP's

From my home state! Unfortunately I can't really get into his stuff... Like Daire said, he bores me. Maybe someday his music will hit me at the right time.

Yep.
His music didn't make sense to me until I had my heart ripped out. Most music has its time and place.

Had the new album on constant play for at least 2weeks now, another quality recording. Reckon it has more of a 'band' vibe than the obvious isolated feel of the first one

Beth/Rest is severely underrated and sadly riddiculed for its amazing keyboards.
Apparently, half a minute into playing that song in LA, the band decided to skip it. Boooo.

I wish Bon Iver didn't break my heart so much because I'd listen to them more if they didn't.

She does have excellent taste!
She introduced me to some really amazing stuff, some of which I consider favorite bands/artists. Greg Laswell, Mumford and Sons, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, Robert Francis etc.

He came to LA last month but that was just a few days after I saw THC so I couldn't afford it.

I fell asleep at one of his shows, got a pretty good nap in. With that being said, I kinda like the Blood Bank - EP.

When ya gotta nap, ya just gotta nap. It was a festival, and nobody else playing was interesting. Pretty sure I heard skinny love then nodded off.
