What food reminds you of gaslight?

I personally think of a few. Pizza, cheese steaks, or Jersey diners. Any time it's nice out and I've got the day off, it feels like a good time to go for a drive to some hole in the wall for a cheese steak and a root beer, listening to Gaslight on the way. Anything All-American with some sense of culture. A lot of those cheese steak stops have some vintage stuff, even if just a jukebox. They always remind me of some older time when drive-in's and hanging outside of some food place were the thing to do. I get that same feeling from TGA songs.

Greasy cheesburger & fries at 3am.

A cold glass of lemonade on a hot summer's day as the sun is going down.

A vodka/soda in a dive bar.

I think I'm half asleep right now.

Funnel cake.
Steak and cheese subs (yes I know its a Philly thing).
Miller from a can.
Thick black coffee.

Damn, now i'm hungry.

Somehow this turned into a haiku-ish Gaslight food thread. And I like it.

Basically anything you'd find at a greasy diner or dive bar. No nonsense fill you up and taste good food that is reasonably priced.

Tacos, strangely enough. Or maybe that's just what I'm craving right now?
