I am a mom of three boys, husband in the Navy, both of us musicians. Saw The Gaslight Anthem at the Warped Tour this year, and liked the sound.

Ha, that's why my dad originally joined the army, he has a music ed degree but had changed his mind and no longer wanted to teach music. He plays in/directs a National Guard band now though, so I guess it worked out. Also, welcome. What instrument do you play? I am curious and nosy. | |

| 3 years, that is awesome, I am glad you are already deciding on making a career out of it. Since I just hit my 10 year mark, I am pretty sure I will be making a career out of it too... it is funny, when I joined, it was 4 years, get the college money and get out... I guess I messed up that plan! | |

| Husband and I both play trumpet, he plays guitar and sings, I am learning to play bass. It's pretty cool. Our oldest is 4, and is asking for drum lessons, if you can believe that.
After 10 years, you have to stay in...you're too close to retirement at that point. | |
