Lost Lyrics

In the liner notes to "The '59 Sound", there are a bunch of crossed out lyrics and stuff. Can't make out too much of them except for this.

Replaced chorus of High Lonesome:

And the years they keep slipping seem the harder I try
Yes, the years keep slipping, seem like every night

The last two lines sound like they could have fit into "Miles"..

I like the chorus they ended up using more than this one though.
