| Anyone seeing tga march 3 for the who tribute at carnegie hall? Thinking about it, but have the feeling they'll be on for one song by the who and none of their own. | |

| I would think they would only do one song by the Who, but is there anywhere for people to find out for sure? | |

- This show — part of a series that has already honored artists such as
Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell and R.E.M. — will feature about 20 acts, performing one song apiece. Source. Which would mean you'd be forking up a lot of cash for no more than five minutes of TGA. Unless you're a big Who fan...

| I just wonder how they are going to handle the synth part, which the entire song is anchored into | |

| It can be easily copied with a guitar and a keyboard. Alex R is able to play keys (very well from what I remember hearing). And Brian is credited with them on SoS so I reckon they could pull it off.
Hopefully some good audio/video comes surfaces from this show!

| I just know it's gonna be epic. Keys or guitar, I sure hope they pull it out on tour. | |

| I imagine they'll handle the synth part on guitar, like Pearl Jam has done. | |

| Baba O'Riley is fitting for them to cover, except for that weird instrumental part in the end. I was expecting them to cover one of their early songs though | |
