| Brian was having a steak huh? Did you ask him Pat's or Gino's? Speaking of which, I guess I'll ask in true Philly boy style, what's your preference?
I wanted to go to that show. Shit I even had tickets, but I was stuck up at State College with loads of work to do.

| music - http://www.last.fm/user/arielwallace for a little bit of what i'm into
and as for cheesesteaks, 'wiz witout' but don't bother with pats or genos
i'd rather go for tony lukes or jim's steaks on south street. there's way better places all over the city than that tourist trap (although the bright lights are half of the attraction)

| It can be a pain. I've gotten in accidents at that damn intersection after Phils games. I'm right there with ya on the wiz witout. When I'm in town I work in schools all along Central to Northern Broad Street, and there's a small place by Broad and Louden called Alnur Pizza that makes a good steak. Getting nostalgia just thinking about it.
Kudos on your music. You go to a lot of shows? Paint It Black plays like all the time anymore. Dr. Dan is the man.

| Welcome to the forum Ariel, glad to have you here...
first off, what is "wiz witout"?
secondly, what kind of whiskey do you drink? I am a big fan of Johnnie Walker Gold/Blue and Green?
Since you said you came across us looking for rips I assume you have checked out out Audio section, but have you seen our Mixtape section? I got into so many new bands through that section.

| e7c, "wiz witout" means a cheesesteak with cheese wiz, without onions. It's supposed to be a "soup nazi" kind of situation... if you don't order the correct way and have your money ready at these places, the employees yell at you or send you to the back of the line. I remember the first time I went to Geno's I didn't know what was what, and the lady behind the window got real pissed.
I just got back in town, and that picture has me CRAVING. At Penn State, there's a place called EB's known for their Philly-style cheesesteaks. They even have the whole wiz/no wiz, wit/witout routine so I figured they knew what they were doing, even though everyone says the same redundant thing, "you can't get a good steak anywhere but Philly". Seriously had to be the most unsatisfying thing I've ever eaten.
Ariel, I heard you Temple folk have school til Wednesday... That really sucks. My group of friends is having a big party in West Chester on Tuesday and our Temple friends aren't gonna make it. I'm thinking of picking them up tonight and bringing them to Pat's.

| Well here's what you do... Work hard these next two days, wake up early Wednesday, get some scrapple and head up to Preston and Steve's Spanksgiving Day Parade. I'm trying to be part of that as the Flyers Greenman. | |
