hey what's up. what are some of your other favorite bands?

I have been in the army for 11 years now, so I am in really good shape, but I do not have the "jock" mentality. When I hear jock, I instantly think of meatheads that are jerks.

Any idea why TGA are so big in the UK? I swear that this forum is over 50% UK

ohhh. see, over here in the U.S., jock means something completely different

Sorry for the confusion with the word "Jock" referring to the slang word for people from Scotland.

Regarding my other favourite bands (in no particular order): AC/DC, Motley Crue, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Guns 'N Roses, Queen, Pantera and obviously The Gaslight Anthem.

But i'm into any sort of music.

And no, not going to T. Wasn't sure about the line-up, but now that I found out TGA are on the bill, i'm trying desperately to find a ticket, but don't want to pay over the odds from a tout.

oh! That makes more sense. When you first wrote asking if there were any other jocks here, I thought it was kind of a jerk thing to ask, like you were making fun of most people on internet forums being fat and lazy.

Whenever I think of the word 'Jock' I always remember my high school house parties and how the poor guys used to get picked on with the try hard Asian gangsters with knives.

til yet when i heard the word "jock", i always thought of football players looking like walking mass of meat...

maybe the reason why people here are mostly (ore often) from the uk, is because people over there tend to have a better average in musical taste??? just a thesis.

Andy.mac, ever seen AC/DC live? I suppose since you live in Australia, it's probably easier, lol. Went to see them twice on the Black Ice Tour, once in Birmingham, which is an age away from where I live in the north east of Scotland, and then at Hampden Stadium in Glasgow, which is not too far away. Anyway, GREATEST CONCERTS EVER!!!!

And Grazer, yes, Pantera are fecking awesome! Was in Florida on holiday recently, and went to the Hard Rock cafe, and there I see the drums that Vinnie Paul was playing for Damageplan on the gig that Dimebag was killed!

Nope, I've never seen acdc live. But I'm seeing them next Feb.
