I'm not sure if a question like this has been posed to the forum before, so if it has, I apologize.

You've recieved a free iPod, which is awesome, but due to a glitch in the programming, it can only hold three songs per artist. You of course asked to get it fixed, but a TON of other people are complaining as well, and it looks like your problem won't get corrected anytime soon. Since you already sold your old iPod to your kid sister's sleazebag boyfriend (who dumped her the next day), you'll have to live w/the new one for a while.

So, the question is... What three Gaslight songs do you put on your iPod? Feel free to give any explanations, but don't feel like you have to. It's a free country (although I guess that may depend on where you are reading this from... whatever).

I'll go first...

1. High Lonesome
2. Great Expectations
3. Blue Jeans & White T Shirts

If I could choose a fourth, I'd go w/ "Casanova, Baby!" I guess I don't need to tell anybody that reads this, but the whole '59 Sound is so amazing, I really think I'd be fine w/any three songs from that album, but these are my faves. So, what say ye?

1. Wherefore Art Thou, Elvis
2. Old White Lincoln
3. Drive

Numer 1 is my favourite TGA song, I'd need Old White Lincoln just because I'd be singing it all day anyway!
And Drive just for memories

1. Say I Won't (Just because of them playing it live memories)
2. Patient Ferris Wheel
3. Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts

Extremley hard choice, nothing from SoS, not really by choice, they're all superb songs but as of this moment, it'd be those 3.

that is one tough question... i do not know one single band of my whole repertoire i could only put 3 songs of on an i-pod

i'd pick

1) meet me by the river's edge (it reminds me a lot of my own youth and my life then)
2) blue jeans & white t-shirts
3) drive

1. By The Rivers Edge - One of my favourite songs. A bit shocked it's not in more peoples selection.

2. Say I won't Recognise - Excellent lyrics in the song and Brian's voice just grips me right from the start in this song.

3. 1930 - Purely because one of my family members has dementia so I can relate to the song. But plenty other songs could make number 3. They've got an excellent catelogue.

2. Wherefore Art Thou, Elvis? the lyrics to this song are just amazing
3. We're Getting A Divorce You Keep The Diner, I chose this because almost every morning when I wake up the last part of this song is on and its just a great song to wake up to.

1. 1930, I fell in love with this song the very first time I heard it, I got to sing it with guys in Wurzburg and it is still my favorite song.

2. Miles Davis and The Cool... last night my wife and I were at the beach and we danced to this song on our balcony after drinking a few glasses of wine! ...JACKSON!

3. Blue Jeans, the only problem I have with this song is that it was on the SATQ ep. not enough people know about this song.

2. 1930 - just for the lyrics

3. We're getting a divorce - love the song and it perks me up straight away.
