Gaslight on NPR (World Cafe)

Not sure how we didn't find out about this sooner, but Gaslight is currently playing on NPR's World Cafe.

I have no idea when it started/how long it has been going but you can catch a stream here http://www.xpn.org/music-artist/xpn-stream

I'm sure someone will upload rips afterwards. (or at least I hope).

They are playing new songs. (Sigh. I survived too long but this is just too awesome). Bring it on is playing now. When they tuned in, it was clearly gaslight playing and clearly awesome but I have no idea which song it was. (Probably diamond street church choir, but not sure)

Apparently the set started at 10 EST. So I probably missed a couple of songs. Wouldn't be surprised if they opened with American Slang and would be very surprised if they didn't play it at all considered all the other songs they played off the album.

Yeah, just posted about this in the Audio section. According to some fan posts on twitter, I think they started a little
after 10, so I don't know how many (if any) songs were missed. Not sure how this isn't worth at least a mention on the official Myspace/Facebook/Twitter.

Yeah. I only found out about it because I was randomly searching "Gaslight Anthem" on twitter. I hope there are not any philly fans who could've gone to see them and missed it because the event got like no coverage by anyone.

It looks like it's some sort of convention for radio stations/music industry types. Passes are pretty expensive ($210 for non radio people) though. Still would've been cool to get a heads up, especially on the stream!

yeah i posted this in the tour page already. I just went home on the train tonight, and the venue is right around the block from my school. ah well!

Already got the old one in the Audio section somewhere ...

They run the World Cafe on my local KXT station as well, so I'll keep my ears peeled for it.
You can listen to KXT streaming on their site, kxt.org, and they play World Cafe at 5 am and 1 pm Monday through Friday... so likely to catch it next Monday or so.

Divided into seven different MP3 tracks, each tagged properly. It's just the NPR stream, not the source files. I'm guessing the live broadcast was the same and didn't have any extra songs, but if anyone got something different, say so. What about the artwork?

So has this been the set they also broadcastet some time ago or was this a totally new performance?
